BMW M3 Competition 2018 (F80 LCI)

Description

This 2018 BMW M3 was delivered new to Richmond BMW of Virginia and spent time in Maryland and North Carolina through the seller’s acquisition in 2021, and now has 17k miles. The car is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over Silverstone leather upholstery and powered by a twin-turbocharged S55 3.0-liter inline-six mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and an Active M differential. Equipment includes the Competition, Executive, and Driving Assistance packages as well as 20″ wheels, a Harman Kardon surround sound system, Apple Car Play, Adaptive LED headlights, power-adjustable and heated front seats, and iDrive with navigation. Service since October 2021 consisted of replacing the air filter, spark plugs, and rear tires in addition to ceramic-coating and paint-correcting the exterior. This F80 is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, a window sticker, service records, a Carfax report, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name. The F80 M3 features widened bodywork compared to the standard 3-Series as well as fender vents, unique side mirrors, and  quad exhaust outlets. This example is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic and is equipped with adaptive LED headlights, Shadowline trim, and a decklid spoiler. The Carfax report lists “minor damage” to the rear of the vehicle in a December 2019 entry. A ceramic-coating service has been performed in preparation for the sale. The front bumper is scratched, a stone chip is located on the hood, and blemishes are visible on the rear bumper. Factory 20” Style 758 wheels were fitted as part of the Competition package and are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 265/30 up front and 285/30 in the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel disc brakes with blue-finished M calipers over cross-drilled rotors, and the car is equipped with a revised steering ratio as well as an Adaptive M suspension. A replacement set of rear tires were installed in April 2022, and the brake fluid was flushed in October 2021. The heated and power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in Silverstone leather and are complemented by a color-coordinated rear bench and door panel inserts. M3-branded floor mats protect the black carpets, and additional appointments include automatic climate control, the Driving Assistance package, carbon fiber trim, keyless entry, a Harman Kardon surround sound system, Apple Car Play, wireless charging, and iDrive with navigation. The car is equipped with the Executive package, which added a head-up display and a parking assist system. A heated M Sport steering wheel wears M tricolor stitching and frames instrumentation consisting of a 200-mph speedometer, an 8,500-rpm tachometer, a configurable digital display, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 17k miles, approximately 9k of which have been added by the seller. The Competition Package increased the output of the twin-turbocharged 3.0L S55 inline-six to 444 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque in stock specification. The car received an oil change, spark plugs, and an air filter in an October 2021 service. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and an Active M differential. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below. The window sticker lists an initial delivery to Richmond BMW of Virginia, along with factory colors, options, equipment, and a total suggested retail price of $82,170. The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage report in December 2019 and lists history in Maryland and North Carolina.
