Description
This 2018 BMW M3 sedan was specified new with the Competition and Lighting packages, and it remained registered in California through the seller’s acquisition in 2022. Subsequent modifications included the installation of revised engine management software, aftermarket exhaust components, a European-specification front bumper, carbon-fiber exterior trim, 19″ HRE 540 wheels, a wheel stud conversion, KW coilovers, and aftermarket anti-sway bars. Inside, Recaro fixed-back bucket seats with houndstooth inserts were installed along with Schroth harnesses, an M Perfomance steering wheel and shift knob, and a Studio RSR roll bar and rear seat delete kit. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter S55 inline-six paired with a six-speed manual transmission, the car is finished in Alpine White and further equipped with an Active M differential, Icon Adaptive LED headlights, carbon-fiber trim, a Harman Kardon sound system, Comfort Access keyless entry, and navigation. This F80 M3 has 69k miles and is now offered with a clean Carfax report and a California title. The F80 M3 featured widened bodywork along with revised fender vents and bumpers compared to the standard 3-series, while the Competition Package adds gloss-black kidney grilles, side gills, and rear model badging. This example is finished in Alpine White with Shadowline trim, and it was fitted with a Euro-specification front bumper cover, a Ridgeline Motorsport GT4 V1 carbon-fiber front splitter, carbon-fiber side skirts, and a Horizon Motorsport CS V2 carbon-fiber rear trunk spoiler under current ownership. Factory equipment included a carbon-fiber roof panel, Icon Adaptive LED headlights, and LED taillights. Scrapes are visible on the lower right portion of the front bumper cover. The suspension has been modified and lowered with KW V3 Clubsport coilovers, GTMore front and rear anti-sway bars, and SPL Parts sway bar end links, per the seller. The 19″ HRE 540 wheels are mounted with 255/65 front and 305/30 rear Falken Azenis FK510 tires, and they are secured by 78mm Macht Schnell Competition wheel studs. Braking is handled by blue-finished M-branded calipers fitted over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners. The seller tells us the front and rear brake pads were replaced, and the brake fluid was flushed in preparation for the sale. The Recaro Pole Position ABE fixed-back bucket seats are trimmed in black with houndstooth cloth inserts, and they are secured with Recaro side mounts. Additional modifications include Schroth Flexi 2×2 safety harnesses, RSpro Harness Collars, a Brey Krause lap belt mount kit, a bleu iND start button, and a Studio RSR rear roll bar and seat delete kit. An M Performance handbrake boot and shift knob have been added, and additional appointments include carbon-fiber trim, a Harman Kardon sound system, Comfort Access keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and iDrive infotainment with navigation. The Alcantara-wrapped M Performance steering wheel features a blue centering stripe and iND drive mode buttons, and it frames a 200-mph speedometer, an 8,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 69k miles, approximately 28k of which were added under current ownership. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter S55 inline-six is said to have been revised with MHD engine management software, a Do88 Performance intercooler J-pipe, and a Spool Performance Stage 3 low-pressure fuel pump. The seller tells us that replacement NGK spark plugs were installed within the last 10k miles, and that service in preparation included an oil change and replacing the filters. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and an electronically controlled Active M differential. The exhaust system has been modified with RedStar Exhaust downpipes and an Active Autowerke midpipe under current ownership, and the fluids in the transmission and differential were changed at approximately 65k miles, per the seller. The car cannot pass a California smog test in its current configuration, and it cannot be sold to an in-state private-party buyer. There is currently a lien on the car, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other reported damage.
