Description

This 2018 BMW M3 sedan is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter S55 inline-six paired with a six-speed manual transmission and is finished in Mineral Gray Metallic over Sakhir Orange Merino leather upholstery. Equipment includes the Competition Package, an Active M differential, a sunroof, 20″ Style 666M wheels, front and rear parking sensors, a backup camera, a rear spoiler, heated power-adjustable front seats, carbon-fiber interior trim, a CD stereo, and navigation. The car spent time in California, Arizona, and Oregon prior to being purchased by the seller in 2021. Service under current ownership consisted of flushing the brake fluid, changing the oil, and replacing the spark plugs, rear differential bushing, VDM control unit, right-front strut and spring, cabin air filter, and front lip spoiler. This F80 M3 is now offered with partial service records, two keys, a Carfax report, and a clean Utah title in the seller’s name. The F80 M3 featured widened bodywork along with revised fender vents and bumpers compared to the standard 3-series, while the Competition Package adds gloss-black kidney grilles, side gills, and rear model badging. This example is finished in Mineral Gray Metallic with Shadowline trim and features xenon headlights, a sunroof, LED taillights, a carbon-fiber rear decklid spoiler, and a sport exhaust system with quad exhaust tips. Paint protection film has reportedly been applied to the exterior, and a replacement front lip spoiler was fitted in October 2022. Blemishes are visible on the front end. The 20″ Style 666M wheels are mounted with Michelin Super Pilot Sport tires measuring 265/30 up front and 285/30 at the rear. The Competition package included a quicker steering ratio, stiffer springs and anti-roll bars, and revised settings for the Adaptive M Suspension system and stability control. Braking is handled by blue-finished M-branded calipers fitted over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners. The left-front wheel is cracked, curb damage is located on the left-rear wheel, and an August 2019 entry of the Carfax report lists a structural alteration, which the seller notes is related to a lowered suspension installed under prior ownership that has since been returned to stock with stock springs during current ownership according to the seller. The right-front strut and spring were replaced in April 2022, and a brake fluid flush was performed in October 2022. The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in Sakhir Orange Merino leather along with carbon-fiber trim on the dashboard and center console. Rubberized floor mats line the footwells, and additional appointments include heated power-adjustable front sport seats, Comfort Access keyless entry, a CD stereo, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and iDrive infotainment with navigation. A set of carpeted floor mats is included in the sale. The cabin air filter was replaced in April 2022. The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, an 8,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 25k miles, approximately 8k of which were added under current ownership. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter S55 inline-six was factory rated at 444 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque in Competition specification. The spark plugs were replaced in April 2021, and service in 2022 included changing the oil and replacing the VDM control unit. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and an electronically controlled Active M differential. A replacement rear differential bushing was installed in January 2022, and additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery. The Carfax report shows the aforementioned structural alteration in August 2019 and lists history in California, Arizona, Oregon, and Utah.
