BMW M3 Competition 2018 (F80 LCI)

Description

This 2018 BMW M3 Competition was purchased in 2019 by the current owner and was subsequently modified with carbon fiber CS-style bodywork along with a Dinan performance tuner, exhaust, and heat exchanger. The car is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over Sakhir Orange Merino leather and powered by a twin-turbocharged S55 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Equipment includes the Competition and Executive Packages as well as 20″ wheels, an Eventuri carbon fiber intake, a Harman Kardon surround sound system, lowering springs, a carbon fiber roof, Adaptive LED headlights, power-adjustable heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and iDrive with navigation. This F80 has 4,200 miles and is offered in California by the seller on behalf of the owner with manufacturer’s literature, a BMW umbrella and lanyard, the removed factory hood, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Nevada title. The F80 M3 features widened bodywork compared to the standard 3-Series as well as fender vents, unique side mirrors, and a carbon fiber roof panel. This example is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic and has been fitted with a carbon-fiber CS-style hood, rear diffuser, rear spoiler, mirror caps, and front splitter. LED headlights and Shadowline exterior trim came optioned from the factory. Blemishes on the removed aluminum hood are shown in the gallery. Factory 20” wheels were part of the Competition package and are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that measure 265/30 up front and 285/30 in the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel cross-drilled discs paired with blue-finished M-branded calipers. The Competition package also added a more aggressive steering ratio and revised settings for the M Adaptive suspension system. Lowering springs have been fitted during current ownership. The cabin features heated power-adjustable M-branded front seats trimmed in Sakhir Orange Merino leather with carbon-fiber accents on the dashboard, door panels, shifter and surround, parking brake handle, and center console. M3-branded floor mats protect the black carpeting and amenities include automatic climate control, keyless entry, a Harman Kardon surround sound system, and iDrive with navigation. The car is equipped with the Executive package, which adds a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, and a parking assist system. The multifunction steering wheel has been re-trimmed with Alcantara sides, an orange offset-indicator, and carbon-fiber accents. Instrumentation includes a 200-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a configurable digital display, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 4,200 miles. The Competition Package increased the output of the twin-turbocharged 3.0L S55 inline-six to 444 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque in stock specification. An Eventuri carbon fiber intake has been fitted, along with a Dinan Dinantronics performance tuner, exhaust system, and heat exchanger. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below. The Carfax report indicates no accidents or other damage and displays history in North Carolina, Nevada, and California.
