BMW M3 2016 (F80 LCI)

Description

This 2016 BMW M3 is finished in black over black Merino leather and is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0L S55 inline-six paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes an aFe exhaust system, a sunroof, black-finished wheels, adaptive headlights, heated front and rear seats, and a head-up display. The car was acquired by the seller in February 2020 and underwent a repaint on majority of the body panels in December 2020, after which a full ceramic coating was added and paint protection film was applied to the front end. Additional service under current ownership is said to have included replacement of all four brake rotors, the brake pads, and the tires. This F80 M3 shows 35k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, two keys, service records, a Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name. The F80 M3 featured widened bodywork along with unique fender vents and bumpers when compared to the contemporary 3-series. This example was factory finished in Black Sapphire Metallic (475) and underwent a repaint on the majority of the body panels in December 2020 due to what the seller states were rock chips. A full ceramic coating was applied and paint protection film was installed on the front end following the paint work. Equipment includes adaptive headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and Park Distance Control. Black-painted 19” wheels are wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that measure 255/35 up front and 275/35 out back and were installed in January 2021. The wheels were reconditioned in April 2021, and all four brake rotors and pads are also said to have been replaced in 2021. The interior is upholstered in black Merino leather with matching door panels and carpeting along with carbon-fiber trim on the dashboard and center console. Amenities include a Harman Kardon sound system, power-adjustable and heated front seats, heated rear seats, a head-up display, and navigation. A heated multifunction steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a variable redline, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The digital odometer shows 35k miles, approximately 19k of which were added by the seller. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six was factory rated at 425 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The spark plugs and air filter were replaced in August 2020, and the oil was most recently changed in January 2021. An aFe MACH Force-Xp exhaust system has been installed, and additional underside photos are shown in the gallery. The Carfax report lists a damage entry in November 2020 that the seller states was related to the aforementioned rock chips and the associated refinish work. Registration and service history in California is shown since new.
