Description
This 2012 BMW M3 Convertible is a two-owner example that has been in Southern California since new. Originally purchased and always serviced at BMW Murrieta, the car was acquired by the seller in July 2016. It was optioned with the Premium and Cold Weather packages, and the 4.0-liter S65 V8 is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Over the past 14k miles, the car has been serviced with multiple oil changes, a transmission and differential oil change, carbon build-up cleaning, a brake/coolant flush, new tires, an alignment, and more. This E93 is now being offered at no reserve with the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, complete service records, a clean Carfax, and a clean California title in the seller’s name. The Jerez Black Metallic (A73) paint is believed original, and the forward surfaces show some stone chips. No dings, dents, or scrapes are present on the body, and all of the panels are said to have their matching VIN stickers. The power retractable hardtop is reported to operate correctly, and the windows have been tinted. The car is equipped with Dynamic Damper Control, Dynamic Stability Control, M Drive, and a variable differential lock. Stock 19″ double-spoke alloys wear Michelin Pilot Sport tires that were installed in September 2017. A four-wheel alignment was performed at the same time, and the rear rotors and pads were also replaced. All E93 convertibles feature Novillo leather upholstery that reflects sunlight, and the interior was optioned with the Premium package, Cold Weather package, and carbon leather trim. The heated, power-adjustable sport seats show light bolster wear. A sport steering wheel and illuminated shift knob are standard equipment, and the car is optioned with enhanced premium sound, navigation system with real time traffic information, voice-command, BMW Assist with Bluetooth, iPod/USB adapter, and smartphone integration. The lights, power accessories, and gauges are functioning properly, and the 65,616 miles indicated on the odometer are considered accurate by the seller. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 features double-VANOS variable valve timing and produced 414 hp when new. The motor has not been modified and is paired to an M-DCT dual clutch transmission. A California smog check was passed when the car was purchased in July 2016. The oil/filter were changed and the brake fluid was flushed in June 2016. Services performed since the seller acquired the car include the following: The original window sticker shows the standard and optional equipment, and displays an MSRP of $83,625. Service records are said to be complete and date back to new, and the car comes with its original owner’s manuals. The video above shows a cold start, walk-around, and the operation of the power retractable hardtop.
