BMW M3 2012 (E92 LCI)

Description

This 2012 BMW M3 coupe is powered by a 4.0-liter S65 V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and it has been modified with a MrCarCrazy titanium exhaust system, 18″ Volk Racing wheels, and KW coilovers. Finished in Le Mans Blue Metallic over Palladium Silver Novillo leather upholstery, the car also has the Premium Package, a limited-slip differential, adaptive xenon headlights, rear parking sensors, dual-zone automatic climate control, a CD stereo, and heated power-adjustable front sport seats. The current owner purchased the car on BaT in May 2024, and work in preparation for the sale consisted of changing the oil and replacing a front sway-bar link along with the hood struts and front brake pads. This E92 M3 has 58k miles and is offered on dealer consignment in California with a service record, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title. The car is finished in Le Mans Blue Metallic with Shadowline trim and features adaptive xenon headlights, rain-sensing wipers, a glass sunroof, rear parking sensors, and quadruple exhaust outlets. The rear spoiler has been removed, the hood struts were replaced in August 2025, and photos provided in the gallery below show blemished paint on the bumper covers. Volk Racing 18″ wheels are mounted with 265/35 front and 275/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires, and tire-pressure sensors are not installed. The car rides on KW coilovers, and braking is handled by four-wheel vented and cross-drilled discs measuring 14.2″ and 13.8″ front and rear, respectively. Work in August 2025 included replacing the right-front sway-bar link along with the front brake pads. The heated and power-adjustable front sport seats are upholstered in Palladium Silver Novillo leather, and Brushed Aluminum Shadow trim accents the dashboard and doors. This example was ordered without iDrive, and other appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, a BMW Professional CD stereo, Comfort Access, a power rear sunshade, and cruise control. The replacement leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and a blue center stripe, and it frames an M-branded tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, a central information display, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 58k miles, approximately 10k of which were added under current ownership. The airbag indicator light remains illuminated after startup. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 features double-VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The engine oil was most recently changed in August 2025, and the hood struts were replaced at that time. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock. A MrCarCrazy titanium exhaust system is installed, and emissions-related equipment has been removed. The Carfax report is free of accident or damage entries. The seller states that the car cannot pass a California emissions inspection, therefore it cannot be sold to an in-state private-party buyer.
