Description
This 2012 BMW M3 coupe is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and is finished in Jet Black over Fox Red and black Novillo leather. Equipment includes the Competition Package, a limited-slip differential, adaptive xenon headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and a HiFi sound system. The car was first sold in Texas and spent time in South Carolina, Georgia, and New Jersey before the selling dealer acquired the car in May 2022. Recent maintenance reportedly included replacing the rod bearings, engine and transmission mounts, the oil pan gasket, and the front tires, along with an oil change. This E92 M3 now has under 47k miles and is offered with the owner’s manual, service records, two key fobs, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Colorado title. The car is finished in Jet Black (668) with Shadowline trim, and equipment includes adaptive xenon headlights as well as rain-sensing wipers, a carbon-fiber roof panel, tinted windows, an aftermarket rear spoiler, and quadruple exhaust outlets. The seller notes blemishes on the right-side C pillar, a two-inch scratch on the right-rear quarter panel, and scuffs on the lower front bumper cover. The carbon-fiber roof panel shows discoloration and the front bumper reflectors have been painted to match the body color, and the selling dealer states that the front undertray panels were replaced in preparation for the sale. Competition Package 19″ Style 359 wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires, which measure 245/35 in front and 265/35 at the rear and have 2022 and 2018 production date codes, respectively. Additional package equipment includes a lowered ride height compared to the standard M3 as well as retuned Electronic Damping Control (EDC) and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). Braking is handled by four-wheel vented and cross-drilled discs. The cabin features manually adjustable front sport seats upholstered in Fox Red and black Novillo leather, and Titanium Shadow trim accents the dashboard and doors. Amenities include a HiFi stereo system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. The selling dealer reportedly replaced the left cup holder and the start button, and notes scuffs on the left door sill and wear beginning to show on the bottom of the driver’s seat bolster. The leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames an M-branded 9k-rpm tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, a central information display, and inset auxiliary gauges. The odometer indicates under 47k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 features double-VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock. The previous owner reportedly had the rod bearings replaced with VAC Motorsport coated bearings and ARP hardware, and the removed rod bearings are included with the sale according to the selling dealer. Additional service in 2022 included an oil change and replacing the oil pan gasket and the engine and transmission mounts The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, New Jersey, and Colorado.
