Description
This 2012 BMW M3 coupe is one of 40 Frozen Silver Edition examples produced for the North American market, and it was purchased by the seller in 2014, who has since added approximately 22k of the 24k indicated miles. It is powered by a 4.0-liter S65 V8 paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and features the Competition, Premium, and Cold Weather packages as well as black Novillo leather, 19″ Style 359 wheels, a limited-slip differential, adaptive xenon headlights, rear parking sensors, heated front sport seats, and a carbon-fiber roof panel and rear spoiler. This E92 M3 Frozen Edition is now offered with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, a car cover, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in Frozen Silver and features a carbon-fiber roof panel and rear spoiler as well as Shadowline trim, adaptive xenon headlights, rain-sensing wipers, rear parking sensors, and quadruple exhaust outlets. The Carfax report notes that the rear and left rear of the car sustained “very minor damage” in a rear-end collision in September 2014 with no additional information provided. Matte black-finished 19″ Style 359 wheels are mounted with Nitto Invo tires. Competition Package equipment includes a lowered ride height compared to the standard M3 as well as retuned Electronic Damping Control (EDC) and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). Braking is handled by four-wheel vented and cross-drilled discs measuring 14.2″ and 13.8″ front and rear, respectively. The heated power-adjustable front sport seats are upholstered in black Novillo leather with lighter stitching complemented by carbon-fiber trim on the dashboard, center console, and doors. Amenities include iDrive with navigation as well as Comfort Access keyless entry, a CD stereo, a power rear sunshade, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. Quilted floor mats are fitted along with a K40 radar detector and a LoJack stolen vehicle recovery system. The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel features paddle shifters along with tri-color stitching and frames an M-branded tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, a central information display, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates under 24k miles, approximately 22k of which were added under current ownership. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 features double-VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed M-DCT dual-clutch transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock. The window sticker notes initial delivery to Performance BMW in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and lists factory equipment, colors, options, and a total suggested retail price of $82,360. The Carfax report notes the aforementioned September 2014 accident entry and lists registration history in North Carolina since new.
