BMW M3 Competition 2012 (E92 LCI)

Description

This 2012 BMW M3 coupe is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and it is finished in Space Grey Metallic over black Novillo leather. Equipment includes the Competition, Cold Weather, and Premium Packages as well as 19″ Style 359 wheels, xenon headlights, parking sensors, Comfort Access keyless entry, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. The seller acquired the car in September 2021 and has since added approximately 1k of the 17k indicated miles. This E92 M3 is now offered with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, removed parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in Space Grey Metallic (A52) and features Shadowline trim and adaptive xenon headlights as well as rain-sensing wipers, tinted windows, a carbon-fiber roof panel, a trunk lid spoiler, rear parking sensors, and quadruple exhaust outlets. Clear paint-protection film has been applied to the front bumper cover, hood, front fenders, mirror caps, door-handle wells, and door edges. The 19″ Style 359 wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, and the right-side wheels were replaced under current ownership. Competition Package equipment includes a lowered ride height compared to the standard M3 as well as retuned Electronic Damping Control (EDC) and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). Braking is handled by four-wheel vented and cross-drilled discs measuring 14.2″ and 13.8″ front and rear, respectively. The power steering fluid and the brake fluid were recently flushed. The heated power-adjustable sport seats are upholstered in black Novillo leather, and carbon-fiber trim accents the dashboard, center console, and doors. Amenities include a CD stereo, a power rear sunshade, Comfort Access keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. An M5-style illuminated shift knob has been installed, and the removed sycamore wood trim is included in the sale. The multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames an M-branded tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, a central information display, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 features double-VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Work in December 2020 is said to have included replacing the oil pan, drain plug, and gasket. The fuel injectors were cleaned, the coolant was flushed, and the spark plugs were replaced in December 2021. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock. The transmission fluid was changed in preparation for the sale.
