Description
This 2012 BMW M3 coupe is one of 40 Frozen Silver Edition examples produced for the North American market, and it was purchased new by the seller from Steve Thomas BMW in Southern California. The car is finished in matte Frozen Silver Metallic over black Novillo leather, equipped with the Competition package, and powered by a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional features include a carbon-fiber roof panel dynamic dampers, 19″ wheels, heated front seats, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, a BMW Performance rear spoiler, and the Cold Weather and Premium packages. This E92 M3 now has 36k miles and is offered at no reserve with its window sticker, factory literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name. The exterior is finished in special-order Frozen Silver Metallic, and Sonderlackierung (special paint) stickers affixed to the car indicate a W07/7 paint code. Features include a carbon-fiber roof panel, Shadowline trim, black kidney grilles, quad exhaust outlets, and a BMW Performance carbon-fiber rear spoiler. LED “halo” lights were added, and the seller notes some imperfections in the paintwork on the nose as well as holes in the underside of the front lip from a previously mounted front apron. The paintwork and exterior trim are shown in detail in the photo gallery below, Black-finished 19″ Y-spoke alloy wheels were included in the Competition Package, which also added Dynamic Damper Control. The wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, and slotted rotors with black-finished brake calipers are equipped at each corner. The interior features seats trimmed in black extended Novillo leather, and features include the Premium package, which added power-adjustable front seats, blue-gray brushed aluminum trim, a powered rear sunshade, rear parking sensors, a rear-view mirror compass, keyless entry, and more. Additional amenities include heated front seats, navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and automatic climate control. An aftermarket engine start button has been fitted. A multi-function steering wheel sits ahead of M-branded instrumentation that includes a 200-mph speedometer and a 9k-rpm tachometer, along with integrated auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows just under 36k miles. The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter V8 was rated for 414 horsepower with 295 lb-ft of torque when new, which is delivered to the rear wheels through a seven-speed M-DCT dual-clutch transmission with a limited-slip differential. The window sticker lists initial delivery to Steve Thomas BMW, $20,285 in optional equipment, and a total suggested retail price of $82,360. The July 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California from a single registered owner.
