BMW M3 Competition 2011 (E92 LCI)

Description

This 2011 BMW M3 coupe is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and is finished in Mineral White Metallic over Fox Red Novillo leather upholstery. Equipment includes the Cold Weather, Premium, Convenience, and Competition packages as well as 19″ Style 359 wheels, a limited-slip differential, Lux “Angel Eye” headlights, rear parking sensors, Ohlins coilovers, a Macht Schnell intake elbow and filter, an Auto Solutions short shifter kit with an illuminated shift knob, IND mirror caps, heated power-adjustable front seats, iDrive infotainment, navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. The car was initially delivered to Laurel BMW of Westmont in Illinois prior to being purchased by the seller in 2021 and now has 52k miles. This E92 M3 is offered with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, two keys, a Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in Mineral White Metallic and features Shadowline trim and Lux “Angel Eye” headlights as well as rain-sensing wipers, a carbon-fiber roof panel, a carbon-fiber trunk lid spoiler, rear parking sensors, IND mirror caps, quadruple exhaust outlets, and carbon-fiber front winglets. Rock chips are noted on the front bumper cover. Damage to the right and right-front portions of the car is listed in a November 2018 entry of the Carfax report. The 19″ Style 359 wheels are equipped with spacers and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 245/35 up front and 265/35 at the rear. Ohlins coilovers have been fitted, and braking is handled by four-wheel vented and cross-drilled discs measuring 14.2″ and 13.8″ front and rear, respectively. Curb damage is visible on three wheels. Replacement front seats, rear bench, and door panel inserts trimmed in Fox Red Novillo leather were fitted under current ownership. M3-branded floor mats line the footwells, and additional appointments include heated power-adjustable front sport seats, carbon-fiber trim, iDrive with navigation, Comfort Access keyless entry, a CD stereo, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and an Auto Solutions short shifter kit with an illuminated shift knob. A scratch is noted on the “Power” button adjacent to the shift knob, and a blemish is visible on the left door panel. The multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames an M-branded tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, a central information display, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 52k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 features double-VANOS variable valve timing and has been modified with a Macht Schnell intake elbow and filter. According to the seller, the spark plugs were replaced in May 2022, and replacement engine mounts were installed in February 2023. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock. The transmission and differential fluids were replaced in May 2022. The window sticker lists initial delivery to Laurel BMW of Westmont in Illinois, along with factory colors, options,  equipment, and a total suggested retail price of $72,775. The Carfax report shows the aforementioned November 2018 damage and lists history in Illinois, South Carolina, Nevada, Georgia, and New Jersey. A manufacturer safety recall regarding the battery cable was issued in June 2019.
