BMW M3 Competition 2011 (E92 LCI)

Description

This 2011 BMW M3 was sold new by Prestige BMW in Ramsey, New Jersey, and has spent most of its life in New York, where it was acquired by the seller in 2014. The car is finished in LeMans Blue over black Novillo leather and is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Features include the Competition Package, a Variable M Differential Lock, Electronic Damping Control, adaptive xenon headlamps with washers, a sunroof, 19″ wheels, rear Park Distance Control, M Drive, automatic climate control, and iDrive with navigation. This E92 M3 has 62k miles and is now offered with factory literature, service records, a Carfax report, and a clean New York title in the seller’s name. The exterior is finished in LeMans Blue Metallic (381) and features adaptive xenon headlamps with washers, a glass sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, power-folding mirrors, high-gloss Shadowline trim, Comfort Access, rear Park Distance Control, and quad aftermarket exhaust finishers. The Carfax report lists a 2013 accident resulting in “minor damage” to the rear and left side of the car. A second accident is noted in 2017 resulting in “moderate damage” to the front and right side. The seller reports that the front bumper has been replaced and that the paintwork on the hood and front fenders has been blended to correct rock chips. A ceramic coating was recently applied to the body, per the seller. Staggered-width 19″ Style 359M Competition Package wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The four-wheel disc brakes feature black calipers at all four corners, and the pads and rotors were replaced in June 2020. The Competition Package included revised Electronic Damping Control programming and a lowered suspension. The interior is upholstered in black Novillo leather with matching carpets and brushed-aluminum trim on the dashboard and door panels. Amenities include heated power-adjustable front seats with position memory, M Drive, dual-zone automatic climate control, iDrive with navigation and USB connectivity, and a BMW Individual High-End audio system. A front seat was replaced in 2014. Instrumentation consists of a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline. The digital odometer has 62k miles, approximately 34k of which have been added by the seller. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 has been fitted with a modified cross-pipe and aftermarket test pipes and drives the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock. The throttle body actuators were replaced in 2018, and the seller reports that Alpine Motorsports engine control software has been installed. The fluids have recently been changed, and the removed factory cross-pipe and catalytic converters are included in the sale. The Carfax report lists the aforementioned accidents and shows history in New Jersey and New York through the most recent entry in September 2020.
