Description
This 2011 BMW M3 sedan is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and is finished in Space Gray Metallic (A52) over Black Novillo leather. Carbon-fiber bodywork, OSSDesign-modified xenon headlights, and a rearview camera have been fitted along with a BMW M Performance electronic steering wheel, a UCC Motorwerks shifter, Bavsound and Audiotec Fischer audio components, Carbon Structure Leather trim, an illuminated shift knob, and more as detailed below. Optioned with the Premium, Technology, and Convenience packages, the car is further equipped with black 19″ Style 359 wheels, a limited-slip differential, Park Distance Control, heated front seats, navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. Following registration history in New York, New Hampshire, and Ohio, the vehicle was purchased by the seller in 2015. This E90 M3 has 109k miles and is now offered with owner’s manuals, parts and service records, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Connecticut title in the seller’s name. The non-sunroof car is finished in Space Gray Metallic (A52) with Shadowline trim that is worn at some edges. The xenon headlights were modified by OSSDesigns with LED rings, eyebrow beams, and turn signals along with gloss-black projectors. Additional exterior features include rain-sensing wipers, power-folding side mirrors, rear Park Distance Control, and quadruple black-finished exhaust outlets in addition to black-finished trim and badging, tinted windows, door puddle lights, a Bimmertech rearview camera, and a carbon-fiber front lip, rear spoiler and diffuser, and mirror caps. The hood and front bumper cover were repainted in 2015, and XPEL film was applied to those surfaces and the fenders, headlights, mirror housings, and side skirts. The rear diffuser has been repaired with epoxy on the inside surfaces, the windshield and rear-window seal were replaced in 2022, and the headlight bulbs were replaced in 2024. The rearview camera’s wiring connectors need to be cleaned occasionally, two roof dimples are noted by the seller, and photos provided in the gallery below show blemishes in the finish. Black powder-coated 19″ Style 359 wheels are mounted with 235/35 front and 275/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires. The car features Electronic Damping Control (EDC), and braking is handled by four-wheel vented and cross-drilled discs measuring 14.2″ and 13.8″ front and rear, respectively. Braided stainless-steel brake lines have been added, and a touched-up wheel scrape is depicted in the gallery. The heated and power-adjustable front sport seats are upholstered in black Novillo leather, and the door panels and rear bench are trimmed to match. Carbon Structure Leather trim has been fitted, and additional appointments include Comfort Access keyless entry, BMW Assist, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, iDrive with navigation, and a CD stereo along with Audiotec Fisher and Bavsound Stage One audio components with an added center-channel speaker. Non-labeled visors have been installed along with an illuminated M5 shift knob, LED interior lighting, and a UUC Motowerks EVO3 short-shifter and Double-Shear Selector Rod. The replacement Alcantara-wrapped, orange-stitched M Performance electronic steering wheel features an integrated display, and it frames an M-branded tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, a central information display, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 109k miles, approximately 70k of which were added under current ownership. The headlight switch was replaced in 2024. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 features double-VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The connecting-rod bearings were replaced with WPC-treated units in 2020 at 88k miles, with ARP rod bolts fitted and the oil pan and motor mounts replaced at that time. The throttle actuators have also been replaced, one in 2018 and the other in 2023. An Active Autowerke air filter has been installed along with aFe Power Dynamic Air Scoops, and the battery and spark plugs were replaced in 2024. Issues noted by the seller include a broken engine-cover grommet, weak hood struts, valve-cover and oil-filter-housing oil leaks, and error code A6D1 related to the auxiliary coolant pump as well as a squealing noise upon startup in cold weather if the car has been sitting for more than a few days. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock. The muffler has been internally modified for gasses to bypass the center baffles, and it has been refinished with satin-black high-temperature paint. A leak at the gear-selector input shaft is noted by the seller. Included spare parts are shown above and in the gallery. The Carfax report is free of accident or damage entries.
