BMW M3 Competition 2011 (E90 LCI)

Description

This 2011 BMW M3 sedan is a US-market example that was delivered new in Munich, Germany and optioned with the Competition, Cold Weather, and Premium Packages. The car was then shipped to California and retained by its original owner until late 2019, when it was acquired by the seller, who has added approximately 1,200 of its 126k miles. The bodywork is finished in Jerez Black Metallic over a Bamboo Beige leather interior with wood trim, heated front seats, a fold-down rear seat, navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and more. Power comes from a 4.0-liter S65 V8 paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential, and braking is handled via cross-drilled rotors inside factory 19″ alloy wheels. Recent service reportedly included an oil change and replacement of the tires. This E90 M3 sedan is now offered with a binder of service records, two window stickers, correspondence with BMW, photos of the car in Germany, an oil-analysis report, clean Carfax and AutoCheck reports, and a clean California title in the seller’s name. The bodywork is finished in Jerez Black Metallic (A73) and features a sunroof, adaptive xenon headlights with retractable washers, and Shadowline trim. Competition Package–specific 19″ alloy wheels are mounted with Falken Azenis FK510 tires said to have been installed new in December 2019. Cross-drilled rotors are equipped at each corner. The Competition Package also included Dynamic Damper Control, and M Servotronic variable-assist power steering came standard. The interior is upholstered with Bamboo Beige Novillo leather (NCH3), and features include Sycamore Anthracite wood trim, heated front seats, a split-folding rear seat, rain-sensing windshield wipers, navigation, and an infotainment system with USB, iPod, and Bluetooth connectivity. The multifunction steering wheel wears an M-Sport badge and is wrapped in black leather. Instrumentation includes a 200-mph speedometer, a 9k-rpm tachometer, and a digital odometer that is said to show 126k miles, approximately 1,200 of which have been added during the seller’s ownership. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 features Double VANOS variable valve timing and produced 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
