Description

This 2009 BMW M3 convertible remained under the care of its first owner for seven years and during that time 35k of the 40k miles indicated were added. The car is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and is finished in Jerez Black Metallic over black Novillo leather. Equipment includes 19″ forged Style 220 wheels, a limited-slip differential, xenon headlights, a retractable hardtop, power-adjustable front seats, a BMW Professional CD stereo, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. This E93 M3 was purchased in April 2024 by the seller from the second owner, and it is now offered with service invoices, and a clean Illinois title. The car is finished in Jerez Black Metallic (A73) and features a retractable hardtop and adaptive xenon headlights as well as rain-sensing wipers, and quadruple exhaust outlets. A grille cover was replaced in July 2024. The Carfax report lists accident damage in a November 2014 entry, and it notes damage in a September 2017 entry. Forged 19″ Style 220 wheels are mounted with Kumho Ecsta PS91 tires. The car features Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). Braking is handled by four-wheel vented and cross-drilled discs measuring 14.2″ and 13.8″ front and rear, respectively. The brake fluid was flushed in April 2024, and the front-right speed sensor was replaced in July 2024. The power-adjustable front sport seats are upholstered in black Novillo leather, and Carbon Structure Leather trim accents the dashboard and doors. Amenities include driver-seat position memory, a BMW Professional CD stereo, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. A note in the July 2024 service invoice states that the airbag light illuminates intermittently. The multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames an M-branded tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, a central information display, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 40k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 features double-VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock. The thermostat, windshield washer pump, and the engine oil were replaced in April 2024. The April 2024 service invoice notes that the valve cover gaskets and the rear differential pinion are seeping. The Carfax report shows the aforementioned accidents and lists at least one open recall.
