Description
This 2009 BMW M3 coupe is finished in silver over a red leather and features a 4.0-liter V8 with a belt-driven ESS VT2-625 supercharger as well as an Eisenmann exhaust system, a seven-speed DCT transmission, carbon fiber spoilers, black 18″ Competition wheels, and more. The car was purchased from Northwest BMW in Owings Mills, Maryland by its original owner and spent time in Michigan and California through February 2020. Work in fall 2019 included supercharger service and replacement of valve cover gaskets, while an inspection for fault codes and a Blackstone oil analysis were performed for the selling dealer. This E92 M3 shows 80k miles and is offered with removed stock components, a Carfax report, and a clean California title. The two-door body is finished in Silverstone 2 Metallic (A29) with black kidney grilles and Shadowline window trim, and is equipped with clear corner indicators, side marker fillers, and aftermarket carbon fiber spoilers. An ESS Tuning badge has been added to the trunk lid. The Carfax report shows 2019 damage affecting the front end, and the selling dealer states that the front bumper cover has been repainted. Satin black powder-coated Competition 18″ wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires showing 2018 date codes. Electronic Damping Control was standard equipment and offered Comfort, Normal, and Sport modes selected with buttons on the center console. The cockpit is trimmed in Fox Red Novillo leather with black accents and carbon fiber trim. Amenities include heated and power-adjustable seats with position memory, a motorized sunroof, and an infotainment center with DVD navigation, auxiliary inputs, and BMW Individual audio. The multi-function steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a tachometer with an 8,400-rpm redline, a 200-mph speedometer, and an odometer showing 80k miles. The double-clutch transmission offers automatic and manual shifting modes, with the latter using the center console lever or steering wheel paddles. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 features dual overhead camshafts per cylinder bank and VANOS variable valve timing, and was fitted with an ESS VT2-625 supercharger kit under previous ownership. The system is based around a belt-driven Vortec V3 supercharger and incorporates a liquid intercooler, ESS intake manifold, larger Bosch fuel injectors, and remapping of the ECU. An Eisenmann exhaust system has also been installed. The seven-speed DCT sequential manual transmission routes power to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential. Service at JMP Auto Werkz in Canoga Park, California in fall 2019 reportedly consisted of supercharger maintenance and replacement of the valve cover gaskets. The results of a Blackstone oil analysis and OBD II diagnostic readout from current ownership are pictured in the gallery. The March 2020 Carfax report lists the aforementioned damage in 2019 as well as dealer service visits and other events with four owners in Maryland, Michigan, and California. A readout of production dates and factory equipment decoded from VIN data is included in the gallery.
