Description

This 2008 BMW M3 is an Alpine White-finished convertible that was purchased by the seller in 2023, and subsequent work included servicing the braking system in addition to replacing the rod bearings, ignition coils, spark plugs, rear differential input shaft seal, engine mounts, and tie rods. Powered by a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission, the car is equipped with an Active Autowerke exhaust system with high-flow catalytic converters as well as Fox Red Novillo leather upholstery, 18″ multi-spoke alloy wheels, a limited-slip differential, Bilstein coilovers, adaptive xenon headlights, a retractable hardtop, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. This E93 M3 has 59k miles and is now offered with partial service records, spare parts, a Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in Alpine White and has a retractable hardtop and adaptive xenon headlights as well as rain-sensing wipers, black kidney grilles, and quadruple exhaust outlets. A July 2015 entry of the Carfax report lists an accident, the rear bumper cover has blemishes, and the seller states a door was repaired under prior ownership. The 18″ multi-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin tires. The car is equipped with Bilstein coilovers, and braking is handled by four-wheel vented and cross-drilled discs measuring 14.2″ and 13.8″ front and rear, respectively. Replacement tie rods were installed in November 2023, and work in April 2024 included flushing the brake fluid in addition to replacing the brake pads and rotors. The heated power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in Fox Red Novillo leather, and Carbon Structure leather trim accents the dashboard and doors. Amenities include a CD stereo, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. The multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames an M-branded tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, a central information display, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 59k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 features double-VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The seller states the throttle actuators have been replaced, and work in November 2023 included replacement of the ignition coils, spark plugs, rod bearings, and engine mounts. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock. An Active Autowerke exhaust with high-flow catalytic converters has been fitted, and the differential input shaft seal was replaced in 2023. The removed wheels, exhaust system, partial service records, and two keys are included in the sale. The Carfax report shows the aforementioned accident.
