Description

This 2008 BMW M3 coupe remained registered to its original owner until it was acquired by the seller on BaT in September 2022. Finished in Alpine White over Fox Red Novillo leather, it is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and has been modified with a Dinan exhaust system, carbon-fiber air intake, and engine management software. Equipment includes the Premium Package, 18″ Style 219 wheels, a limited-slip differential, xenon headlights, a carbon-fiber roof panel, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Work since 2022 has included replacing the rod bearings, throttle actuators, windshield, front tires, engine mounts, oil pan gasket, crankshaft seal, flywheel, and clutch assembly. This E92 M3 has 98k miles and is offered at no reserve with a window sticker, an owner’s manual, a Blackstone oil report, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Missouri title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in Alpine White (300) and features Shadowline trim and adaptive xenon headlights as well as rain-sensing wipers, power-folding side mirrors, a carbon-fiber roof panel, a trunk lid spoiler, and quadruple exhaust outlets. The windshield is said to have been replaced in 2022. An imperfection is noted on the roof. The 18″ Style 219 wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 245/40. The car features Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), and braking is handled by four-wheel vented and cross-drilled discs measuring 14.2″ and 13.8″ front and rear, respectively. The front lower control arms, ball joints, and bushings were replaced in 2020, and replacement front tires were mounted in July 2024. The power-adjustable front sport seats are upholstered in Fox Red Novillo leather, and Brushed Aluminum Shadow trim accents the dashboard and doors. Amenities include BMW Assist, a CD stereo, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. Noted flaws include a malfunctioning driver-side seatbelt retriever, blemishes in the aluminum trim on the driver’s door, peeling film on the driver’s door handle, and wear on the left-side driver-seat bolster. The multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames an M-branded tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, a central information display, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 98k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. The plastic trim on the steering wheel was reportedly replaced in 2022. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 was modified with a Dinan carbon-fiber high-flow air intake, Stage 1 engine management software, and free-flow axle-back exhaust system by Avus Autosport of Glendale, California, in 2013. The valve cover gaskets were replaced in 2021 and the rod bearings, engine mounts, oil pan gasket, and crankshaft seal were replaced in 2022. The throttle actuators were replaced in 2023. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock. The flywheel and clutch assembly were replaced in early 2022. The window sticker lists initial delivery to Kuni BMW of Beaverton, Oregon, along with factory equipment, colors, and a total suggested retail price of $60,625. The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
