Description

This 2008 BMW M3 coupe is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 that was rebuilt and modified in 2022 by VAC Motorsports of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, including installation of a Stage 1 cylinder head, CP forged pistons, and CSF oil cooler. The car is finished in Jerez Black metallic over Palladium Silver Novillo leather, and additional equipment includes a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, an M variable locking differential, a carbon fiber roof panel, 19″ Apex wheels, H&R lowering springs, a Magnaflow exhaust system, MAZ Tuning ECU software, an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and navigation. The current owner acquired the car in 2020, and additional work has since included servicing the brakes and replacing the oil pan gasket, hood struts, and engine mounts. This E92 M3 has 107k miles and is offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner in Mamaroneck, New York with records from current ownership, accident-free AutoCheck and Carfax reports, and a clean Pennsylvania title. The car is finished in Jerez Black Metallic (A73) with a carbon fiber roof panel and Shadowline trim. Additional features include adaptive xenon headlights, rain-sensing wipers, Comfort Access, power-folding side mirrors, and blocked-off front bumper turn signal lenses. The carbon fiber roof panel was repaired in 2022, at which time the front bumper and hood were also refinished. Paint chips, scratches, and blemishes are pictured in the gallery. Black-painted 19″ Apex ARC-8 wheels are wrapped in 265/35 Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires up front and 285/35 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ rubber in back. The suspension is equipped with H&R lowering springs and braking is handled by four wheel discs with cross-drilled rotors and blue-finished calipers. Work performed in 2022 included replacing the front tires, performing an alignment, changing the power steering fluid, and replacing the brake pads, rotors, and wear sensors. The cabin features power-adjustable front seats upholstered in Palladium Silver Novillo leather along with an Alcantara headliner. Carbon fiber-pattern trim accents the dashboard and doors. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, a CD stereo, a push-button start, and cruise control. Areas of worn upholstery on the front seats and armrests are shown in the gallery below. The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel features a silver centerline stripe and fronts an M-branded tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, a central information display, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 107k miles, approximately 8k of which were added during current ownership. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 was rebuilt and modified by VAC Motorsports of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in July 2022. Work included replacing the crankshaft, timing chain assembly, oil pump, and VANOS solenoids, along with recharging the air conditioning system and installing the following components: The hood struts and engine mounts were also replaced in 2022, and a replacement oil pan gasket was installed in January 2023. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and an M variable locking differential. A one-piece aluminum belly pan has been fitted up front per the seller. Additional underside images are provided in the gallery, along with photos from the engine rebuild process. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Florida, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. An open manufacturer safety recall related to the battery cable is noted in June 2019.
