BMW M3 2008 (E92)

Description

This 2008 BMW M3 coupe was acquired by the seller on BaT in July 2024 after it was registered in California and Utah, and the tires were subsequently replaced. It is finished in Jerez Black Metallic over black Novillo leather and is powered by a 4.0-liter S65 V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes the Premium and Technology packages as well as Electronic Damping Control, a Megan Racing axle-back exhaust, an M Performance rear spoiler, 19″ forged Style 220 wheels, a limited-slip differential, adaptive xenon headlights, heated and power-adjustable front sport seats, and iDrive with navigation. This E92 M3 is now offered with one key, removed exhaust components, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in Jerez Black Metallic and features Shadowline trim and adaptive xenon headlights as well as an M Performance rear spoiler, rain-sensing wipers, a glass sunroof, revised front grilles, and quadruple exhaust outlets. Imperfections in the finish, including paint checking on the front bumper cover, are displayed in the gallery. Forged 19″ Style 220 wheels are mounted with 255/35 front and 275/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that were installed in August 2024. The car features Electronic Damping Control (EDC) and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), and braking is handled by four-wheel vented and cross-drilled discs measuring 14.2″ and 13.8″ front and rear, respectively. The heated power-adjustable front sport seats are upholstered in black Novillo leather, and Brushed Aluminum Shadow trim accents the dashboard and doors. Amenities include iDrive with navigation as well as Comfort Access keyless entry, a CD stereo, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. The driver’s seatbelt butler functions but does not deliver the seatbelt, per the seller. The multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames an M-branded tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, a central information display, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 30k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 features double-VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was completed in May 2025. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock. A Megan Racing axle-back exhaust system is installed, and the removed factory components are included in the sale. The Carfax report notes that the transmission was replaced in September 2013. The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
