BMW M3 2008 (E92)

Description

This 2008 BMW M3 coupe is powered by an ESS Tuning-supercharged 4.0 liter S65 V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and it is finished in Alpine White over black Novillo leather. Equipment includes forged 19″ wheels, a limited-slip differential, xenon headlights, power-adjustable front seats, structural carbon-look leather trim, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The car was first sold from BMW of Mountain View, California and was purchased in 2018 by the seller, who subsequently relocated it to Nevada. Service performed during current ownership consisted of a brake fluid flush, replacement of the tires, and an oil change. This supercharged E92 M3 now has under 39k miles and is offered with service records from current ownership, an ESS Tuning flash tuning kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Nevada title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in Alpine White (Alpinweiss III, 300), and features high-gloss Shadowline trim as well as M3-specific vents, revised front and rear bumper covers, wider bodywork, a bulged and vented hood, a carbon-fiber roof panel, and a rear lip spoiler. This is a re-list after the car previously sold on BaT in September 2020 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the car. The winner has been banned from future participation on BaT and their buyer’s fee was not refunded. Optional 19″ forged wheels wear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 245/35 up front and 265/35 out back, which were fitted in 2019 by the seller. Cross-drilled brake rotors measure 14.2″ up front and 13.8″ in the rear, and a brake fluid flush was performed in 2019. The cabin features black Novillo leather upholstery along with matching door panels and carpets that are protected by M3-logo floor mats. Carbon-look leather trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels, while the heated and power-adjustable front sport seats include embossed M logos on the headrests. Additional equipment includes a BMW Professional audio system with an in-dash CD player and dual-zone automatic climate control. The leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel frames an M-branded tachometer with a variable redline and a 200-mph speedometer. The digital odometer indicates under 39k miles, of which approximately 8k were added by the seller. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 was modified during prior ownership with a supercharger kit from ESS Tuning featuring a Vortech belt-driven supercharger and an ESS Tuning intake plenum, while additional modifications include test pipes in place of the factory catalytic converters. An oil and filter change was performed in late 2019. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and an M Variable limited-slip differential, and photos showing the underside are provided in the gallery below. Receipts for service conducted during the seller’s ownership are included with the sale, as are factory literature and an E-Flash remote tuning module and cable. The July 2020 Carfax shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in California and Nevada through its most recent entry in May 2020.
