BMW M3 2008 (E92)

Description

This 2008 BMW M3 was acquired around five years ago by the current owner and subsequently modified as a track car. Power comes from a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, and the car has been fitted with a gray vinyl wrap with blue and black accents. Equipment includes a half roll cage, dual Sparco fixed-back bucket seats, JRZ RS adjustable coilovers, an APR front splitter, adjustable rear wing, StopTech brakes, and 19” Vorsteiner wheels. This E92 M3 is being offered in California by the seller on behalf of the owner with a spare set of wheels and racing slicks, a Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title. Finished from the factory in Schwarz (668), the exterior has been covered with an iridescent gray vinyl wrap with black, white, and blue accents. Exterior features include an APR front splitter, an APR GT-250 67″  adjustable rear spoiler, and front and rear Rennline tow hooks. The seller notes that the hood shocks have been recently replaced. The Carfax report notes an accident in 2008 that resulted in damage to the rear passenger-side of the vehicle. Black-painted 19” Vorsteiner V-FF 106 wheels are mounted with Lexani Six-Twenty tires sized 255/30 up front and 275/30 out back. Stopping power is provided by StopTech monoblock calipers equipped with StopTech SR-34 pads and paired with multi-piece rotors sized 380mm up front and 355mm out back. The car rides on adjustable JRZ RS coilovers and features adjustable camber plates. A set of 18×10” HRE wheels mounted with 285/30 BFGoodrich g-Force R1 racing slicks is included in the sale. The interior has been stripped apart from the dashboard and door panels, and dual Sparco Ergo II fixed-back bucket seats with head restraints and sliding rails on the driver’s seat have been installed. Additional modifications include multi-point Sparco harnesses, a yellow-painted half-roll cage, an AIM SmartyCam, AIM Solo DL, a carbon fiber block-off plate in place of the factory infotainment, and a custom-welded passenger-side footrest and driver’s dead pedal. A three-spoke multifunction steering wheel sits ahead of Pedal Haus shifter paddles and instrumentation that includes a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8,200-rpm redline. The digital odometer shows 58k miles, around 5k of which have been added during current ownership. The 4.0L S65 V8 produced 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque when new, which is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. A trickle charger has been installed, and additional equipment reportedly includes a transmission oil cooler, Vorshlag engine mounts, ARP rod bolts, and WPC-treated rod bearings.
