BMW M3 2008 (E92)

Description

This 2008 BMW M3 coupe is finished in Alpine White over Fox Red Novillo leather and is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Forgestar 19″ wheels and a Macht Schnell intake charge kit have been added, while factory equipment includes Dynamic Damper Control, M Drive, Comfort Access, adaptive xenon headlamps, power-adjustable front seats with position memory, and iDrive with navigation. The car spent much of its life in California and was acquired in Arizona by the seller in 2020. The rod bearings were replaced in 2019, and work under current ownership includes fluid changes, refinishing the carbon fiber roof, and replacement of the tires, accessory belts, and battery as well as various exterior and interior trim. This E92 M3 has 96k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, recent service records, an accident-free Carfax report, and an Arizona title. The car is finished in Alpinweiss (300) and is equipped with a carbon fiber roof and rear spoiler, adaptive xenon headlights, aftermarket window tint, and dual twin exhaust outlets. The seller states that the roof and front bumper cover were refinished after being damaged following removal of paint protection film, and the front side marker lenses were deleted at this time. Other work under current ownership included replacement of the windshield and rear window as well as refinishing the driver-side rear quarter panel and refurbishing the headlight lenses. Forgestar F14 19″ wheels are wrapped in 275/30 front and 295/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that were mounted in April 2021. Braking is provided by blue M-branded calipers and cross-drilled rotors. The cabin is trimmed in Fox Red Novillo leather with matching door panel inserts, carbon-look trim, M3-branded floor mats, and LED door logo projectors. Amenities include power-adjustable seats with position memory, automatic climate control, Comfort Access, cruise control, rain-sensing windshield wipers, M Drive, and iDrive with navigation. Recent interior refreshment included replacement of the door sills, trim, iDrive control knob, pedals, and center console cover. A replacement Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline as well as gauges measuring fuel level and oil temperature. The odometer indicates 96k miles, approximately 700 of which were added by the seller. The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter S65 V8 features M Double-VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. A Macht Schnell intake charge kit has been installed, and service under current ownership included an oil change as well as replacement of the battery and accessory belts. The rod bearings were replaced by SSR Performance of Orange, California in February 2019, and greater than normal crankshaft end play was noted at the time. The differential fluid was changed in January 2021. The Carfax, which shows the current lien on the title, notes the aforementioned paintwork and lists registration and service history in California and Arizona. There is currently a lien on the car and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the next owner.
