Description

This 2008 BMW M3 coupe has been modified with a GTS-style rear wing, a GT4-style carbon-fiber front splitter, AP Racing brake calipers, RECARO PROFI SPG seats, 18″ Volk Racing TE37 wheels, an Akrapovič exhaust system, Öhlins Dedicated Track coilovers, a Cantrell Motorsports roll bar, and a rear-seat delete. The car is finished in Alpine White III and powered by a 4.0-liter S65 V8 paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It left the factory with extended Fox Red Novillo leather as well as a carbon-fiber roof panel, a limited-slip differential, xenon headlights, and iDrive with navigation. The seller reports they acquired the car from a close friend in 2012 and has since added approximately 10k of the 58k indicated miles. This E92 M3 is now offered with the removed factory seats and wheels, a spare set of Volk Racing TE37 wheels with unused Hoosier tires, and a clean Washington State title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in Alpine White III and is modified with a GTS-style rear wing, a GT4-style carbon-fiber front splitter, black kidney grilles, and clear paint protection film that was applied in 2020. Retained factory features comprise a carbon-fiber roof panel, Shadowline trim, adaptive xenon headlights, and rain-sensing wipers. The Carfax report notes an accident entry in December 2008 during which the car hit a parked motor vehicle. The seller states that the previous owner reported that the car bumped into another vehicle while parking, and the rear bumper cover was repaired to address a scrape. Paint chips are noted on the lower section of the front bumper cover under the paint protection film. Silver-finished 18″ Volk Racing TE37 wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS tires measuring 265/35 up front and 295/35 out back. Öhlins Dedicated Track coilover suspension was installed in May 2022, at which time the end links were also replaced. The EDC system has been disabled. AP Racing brake calipers are mounted over slotted front and cross-drilled rear discs and brake ducts have been installed, and the seller states the rotors were replaced and the calipers were rebuilt and serviced within the last 1k miles. Black cloth RECARO PROFI SPG bucket seats are installed along with Schroth racing harnesses and a Cantrell Motorsports roll bar in place of rear seats. Brushed Aluminum Shadow trim accents the dashboard and doors, and amenities include iDrive with navigation, Comfort Access keyless entry, a CD stereo, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel features paddle shifters along with tri-color stitching, and it frames an M-branded tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, a central information display, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 58k miles, approximately 10k of which were added under current ownership. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 features double-VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The throttle valve actuators were replaced in September 2020, and the rod bearings were replaced in April 2022. The seller states the engine mounts and battery were replaced within the last 1k miles. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed M-DCT dual-clutch transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock. An Akrapovič exhaust system is installed, and the seller states that the transmission and differential fluids were changed and the transmission mounts were replaced within the last 1k miles. The removed factory seats are included in the sale along with an additional set of Volk Racing TE37 wheels with heat-cycled but otherwise unused Hoosier tires and a set of Style 220 wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires.
