Description
This 2008 BMW M3 is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 which has been modified with an ESS VT2-625 supercharger and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in gray over red leather and equipped with the Premium, Technology, and Cold Weather packages as well as rain-sensing windshield wipers and satellite radio. Additional modifications consist of a Megan Racing exhaust system, Forgestar wheels, carbon fiber aero pieces, black kidney grilles, and more. Service since the seller’s acquisition in 2015 included replacement of the connecting rod bearings in 2016 and the throttle actuators, water pump, thermostat, and temperature sensors in May 2019. This E92 M3 shows 69k miles and is offered with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s mother’s name. The Space Gray Metallic (A52) finish is accented by a factory carbon fiber roof, and additional carbon fiber trim installed under current ownership includes a front lip, rear spoiler, diffuser, and side skirts. Black kidney grilles and M3 badges have also been added along with Lux Angel running lights featuring adjustable white color temperature. Forgestar F14 wheels measuring 19″x9.5″ front and 19″x11″ rear are wrapped in Bridgestone and Michelin tires, with the latter said to have been replaced within the past 3k miles. New brake pads were reportedly installed at 55k, and replacement tire pressure monitoring sensors were fitted in the past 500 miles. The cabin is upholstered in Fox Red extended Novillo leather with a two-tone dashboard and door panels, while the floors are trimmed with charcoal carpets. The car is equipped with the Cold Weather, Premium, and Technology packages which include power-adjustable and heated front seats with adjustable side bolsters, carbon leather interior trim, Comfort Access keyless entry and engine starting, navigation, and satellite radio. Motorpsort-branded instrumentation consists of a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a variable redline, and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The digital odometer shows 69k miles, of which approximately 21k have been added by the seller. The 4.0-liter V8 has been modified with a ESS VT2-625 supercharger featuring a 94mm pulley, an ECU tune that reportedly allows for increased boost of approximately eight pounds, and a Megan Racing exhaust system. Treated BE connecting rod bearings were installed in 2016, and replacement throttle actuators are said to have been fitted at 68k miles. Additional service included transmission and differential fluid changes at 55k as well as installation of a new water pump, thermostat, temperature sensors, and coolant in May 2019. A factory campaign to replace the battery terminals was reportedly completed at 68k along with installation of a replacement battery. Oil changes are said to have been performed every 5k miles under current ownership, with the most recent at 64k. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a variable locking M differential. The window sticker shows an original MSRP of $67,845 including just over $11k in options. The December 2019 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in New Jersey, Delaware, Ohio, and Michigan.
