Description

This 2008 BMW M3 sedan is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and it is finished in Jerez Black over a black and red leather interior. Now showing 98k miles, the car features cross-drilled disc brakes, M suspension, adaptive xenon headlamps, dual-zone automatic climate control, rain-sensing windshield wipers, an iDrive infotainment system with navigation, and an aftermarket short-throw shifter. The car has been registered in New York since 2008, and the selling dealer acquired it in late 2019. Service since that time reportedly has included replacement of the thermostat and drive belts as well as an oil change. The exterior is finished in Jerez Schwarz Metallic (A73, Jerez Black), and the orange reflectors in the front bumper have been replaced with body-color filler panels. The accompanying Carfax report indicates that the left side of the car was damaged in an June 2009 accident. Black multi-spoke wheels are mounted over cross-drilled disc brakes at each corner. The M version was delivered with an upgraded suspension compared with the base model. The two-tone cabin features black and red leather upholstery, and a short-throw shifter has been installed. The seller notes that the passenger headrest was sourced from another car and is not a perfect match. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and an iDrive infotainment system with navigation. The selling dealer notes wear in the plastic trim on the multi-function steering wheel. Factory M instrumentation includes a 200-mph speedometer, a 9k-rpm tachometer, and a digital odometer that shows 98k miles. The 4.0-liter V8 features M Double-VANOS variable valve timing and produced a factory-rated 414 horsepower at 8,300 rpm and 295 lb-ft of torque at 3,900 rpm. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock limited-slip differential.
