BMW M3 2008 (E90)

Description

This 2008 BMW M3 Sedan is a 6-speed manual example with 38k miles from new, and was purchased by the seller as a Certified Pre Owned car in 2012. Since then the car has been modified with performance upgrades including an ESS Tuning VT2-585 liquid intercooled supercharger, KW V3 coilovers, StopTech front and rear big brake kits, and a Rogue Engineering short shift kit. The car is well-optioned from the factory and has a few nice cosmetic modifications including Competition Package wheels. The setup was dyno tested at 531 RWHP on 91 octane fuel. The tuning work was performed by BMW specialists European Auto Source in Anaheim, CA who know the car well and are happy to answer questions about the build. The exterior is in nice condition and the color code A73 “Jerez Black” paint is all original other than the aftermarket RD Sport “Stradale” front air dam and Vorsteiner carbon fiber GTS-style rear deck lid. The paint has been well cared for and remains glossy with no swirls or notable damage. OEM BMW style 359 wheels from the 2011 M3 Competition package are installed, sized 19″x9″ in front and 19″x10″ in the rear. Pirelli tires are installed and are in good condition. The interior is finished in black Novillo extended leather and comes with an extensive set of optional equipment including the Premium, Technology, and Cold Weather packages. The seller has also had the keyless entry system modified to control the windows, folding side mirrors, and moonroof from the key fob. The only interior modifications are a Rogue Engineering Octane short-shift kit and an Awron DGA Kompressor multi-function gauge, installed in place of one of the dash A/C vents. The car has had a number of aftermarket mechanical enhancements that raise performance well beyond the already impressive levels of a stock 2008 M3. Upgrades include the following: All modifications were professionally installed by European Auto Source. The supercharger setup is not CARB certified and will fail a visual California smog inspection. The seller was able to successfully smog the car in California using a third party smog specialist. With the supercharger kit the car was measured at 531 rear wheel HP on the dyno using 91 octane fuel, up from 358 HP naturally aspirated. At the time this dyno run was made the car had a Gintani 3.5″ midpipe and rear exhaust installed but the seller found it too loud for street use and re-installed the modified OEM exhaust. The Gintani is not included with the car. The car has a never been in an accident or driven on a racetrack. A clean Carfax can be viewed in the gallery below.
